Deadpool is a third-person action-comedy video game starring Marvel’s irreverent antihero. Developed by High Moon Studios and published by Activision in 2013, it blends fast-paced hack-and-slash combat with dual-wielded gunplay, acrobatic dodges, and brief teleport strikes. Players chain melee and ranged combos to earn upgrade points for new weapons and abilities, while Deadpool’s constant fourth-wall breaks, meta humor, and rapid-fire banter (voiced by Nolan North) drive a chaotic, self-aware story.
The campaign pits you against Mister Sinister and his Marauders across set pieces that span Genosha, high-tech strongholds, and surreal mindscapes, with appearances from X-Men allies such as Wolverine and Cable. Rated M for Mature, it leans hard into graphic violence and crude comedy, delivering an over-the-top power fantasy that embraces Deadpool’s signature tone.
Originally released for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC, the game was later re-released on PS4 and Xbox One. Note: digital availability has varied over time due to licensing.
